IMPORTANT:     DEMOCRACY IN DANGER IN CROATIA.
Support Radio 101, the only independent radio station in Zagreb!
Chronology:
- 1984. Radio 101 begins broadcasting. From the beginning it was oriented
towards telling the truth no matter what's the cost.
- 1996. 20th of November. Croatian Council for Telecommunications
decides to remove broadcasting license for Radio 101. It gives the license
to Radio Globus 101.
After more than 100 000 people hit the streets on 21st of November, 1996,
the first and only truly independent radio in Zagreb, Croatia - RADIO 101
was given the permission to continue broadcasting because Radio Globus 101
decided to forsake the broadcasting permit.
However, the situation is still unsolved, because the permit for Radio 101
is temporary. This page will stay here until Radio 101 gets a permanent
license to broadcast - as there is not a single reason it should be denied
the license.
